David Jana leads Moonvalley Capital after 26 years of banking and corporate experience at top financial and non-financial companies operating in Latin America.
Up to July 2014, David Jana was the Country Executive of the Southern Cone Countries – Latin America for Bank of America Merrill Lynch (“BAML”).
Prior to this, David Jana was CFO of ENAP, Chile’s Oil & Gas company and the Senior Country Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Calyon in Brazil, the investment banking arm of the Credit Agricole Group.
Martín is an M&A and Private Equity Partner in Moonvalley Capital, he joined the firm at the beginning of 2015, where he started as an analyst. During this period, Martin has lead several M&A transactions, strategic advisories and valuations. Highlighting among them, the strategic advisory done to Compañía de Seguro Confuturo S.A. in the search for equity and debt investment opportunities in local infrastructure assets, which successfully ended in the investment in Gas Valpo (US$ 200 mm) and the participation on the acquisition process for two portfolios of transmission lines (US$ 300 mm). Another advisories to be highlighted are the strategic advisory for the board of ENAP which consisted on the analysis of their infrastructure and energy assets in Chile, as well as the successful sale of IMAGEX, a leading digital printing distributor in Chile, to the Ferrostaal Group in 2019.
In 2019, Martin did an internship with the investment team of IFM Investors, a leading infrastructure fund with an AuM of approx. US$100 bn and investments all across the globe.
Martín holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Administration from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile.

Salvador is M&A and Private Equity Analyst at Moonvalley Capital. He joined the firm in July 2019.
Before joining Moonvalley Capital, he did an internship at Endeavor New York and Start-Up Chile as an analyst of entrepreneurial development and new business.
Salvador holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Administration from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. He has a Master’s Degree in Marketing from the same University. During this period, he did a one semester exchange at Cornell University.

Antonia is an M&A and Private Equity Analyst.
She joined the firm as an Intern in July 2018 before taking a role of Analyst in March 2020.
Antonia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Administration, from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. During this period, she did one semester abroad in University Van Amsterdam.

Matias is an M&A and Private Equity Analyst.
He joined the firm as an intern before taking on a role of Analyst in December 2020.
Before joining Moonvalley Capital, Matias did an internship at Arauco Nutrientes Naturales.
Matias holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Administration, from Universidad de Chile.

Milton Castiel has over twenty-five years of Credit Risk Management experience in Latin America and the Emerging Markets. Prior to Moonvalley Capital he was a Director and Team Head at Bank of America Merrill Lynch Brazil (2009/2010) where he partnered with Corporate and Investment Banking, Debt Capital Markets, Sales and Trading and Treasury Management, to drive revenue growth while managing risk.
From 1998 to 2009 Milton was Head of Credit Risk for Merrill Lynch Brazil where he was responsible for coverage of banks, corporates, domestic and offshore funds and local exchanges.

John Lin has more 25 years of professional experience with solid results in FMCG (cosmetics, personal care, food and beverage and pharmaceutical) and Management Consultant industries, as well as an entrepreneurial experience in private equity and broad international experience.
John started his successful career in P&G Brazil, Latam and Asia where he hold positions of increasing responsibilities, later he worked with Andersen Consulting/Accenture serving companies like ABInBev, Novartis and Accor amongst others. Later on he worked as a managing director of Fama Private Equity, Brazilian PE focused on mid local companies.
John also held senior positions as a VP and General Manager in Avon China where he led a business model transformation from a hybrid direct selling/retail model to a multi-channel retail business.

Conrado Briceño is the co-founder and President of Education Partners S.L., a strategic consulting company in global education. Conrado has a proven executive management track record and over 25 years of international experience in education, consumer goods and financial services. Prior to Education Partners S.L., Conrado developed an extensive international career with Laureate Education Inc. His most relevant and recent roles include CEO Spain & President of Universidad Europea Spain during 3 years – leading the sale of the company to a private equity fund – and CFO Europe Region. Previously he served as COO Andean Region, Latin America and CFO & COO in Universidad de Las Américas (Chile). Prior to Laureate, Conrado had a long and successful career in financial services in Chile and the US with BankBoston N.A. and Bank of America, leading and participating in several M&A and Capital Market transactions across Latam. Conrado started his career with Exxon Coal & Minerals in Chile.
He earned an MBA from A.B. Freeman School of Business, Tulane University and a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (Chile). Conrado was a Board member of Universidad Viña del Mar (Chile), a Foundation Trustee member of private business organization Conexus (Spain), a Advisory Board member of private association Multinacionales por Marca España (Spain) and a Selection Committee member of social entrepreneurship association YouthActionNet (US).
