David Jana leads Moonvalley Capital after 26 years of banking and corporate experience at top financial and non-financial companies operating in Latin America.
Up to July 2014, David Jana was the Country Executive of the Southern Cone Countries – Latin America for Bank of America Merrill Lynch (“BAML”).
Prior to this, David Jana was CFO of ENAP, Chile’s Oil & Gas company and the Senior Country Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Calyon in Brazil, the investment banking arm of the Credit Agricole Group.

Martín Cruzat Mena
Martín Cruzat is a M&A and Private Equity Associate at Moonvalley Capital. He joined the firm in 2015 after finishing his bachelor´s degree.
Before joining Moonvalley Capital he did an internship in BTG Pactual as a Financial Analyst in the local fixed income trading desk, where he analyzed some of the main fixed income issuers of the local market.
Martín holds a Bachelor´s degree Business and Administration from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

Vicente Fernández is an M&A and Private Equity Analyst at Moonvalley Capital.
He joined the firm in June 2018 as a full time Analyst after finishing his bachelor´s degree.
Before joining Moonvalley Capital, Vicente did an internship at BTG Pactual Chile, as a Local Equity analyst in the Wealth Management area, where he analyzed different companies from the local stock market and participated in the management of a discretionary accounts portfolio.
Vicente holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Administration, from the Universidad de Chile.

Lucas is an M&A and Private Equity Analyst.
He joined the firm as an intern before taking on a role of Analyst.
Before joining Moonvalley Capital, Lucas did an internship at Atton Hoteles as a business development analyst.
Lucas holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and Administration, from Universidad de Chile. During this period, he did two quarters in Warwick Business School, UK.

Marco is an M&A and Private Equity Analyst.
Before joining Moonvalley Capital, Marco developed experience in Trading and Asset Management and did an internship at Santander Corporate & Investment Banking Chile, as an M&A Analyst.
Marco holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Engineering, from Sapienza Università di Roma, and an MSc. in Management Engineering stream Finance, from Politecnico Di Milano. During his Master, Marco studied two semesters at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile for the Magíster en Finanzas.

Milton Castiel has over twenty-five years of Credit Risk Management experience in Latin America and the Emerging Markets. Prior to Moonvalley Capital he was a Director and Team Head at Bank of America Merrill Lynch Brazil (2009/2010) where he partnered with Corporate and Investment Banking, Debt Capital Markets, Sales and Trading and Treasury Management, to drive revenue growth while managing risk.
From 1998 to 2009 Milton was Head of Credit Risk for Merrill Lynch Brazil where he was responsible for coverage of banks, corporates, domestic and offshore funds and local exchanges.

John Lin has more 25 years of professional experience with solid results in FMCG (cosmetics, personal care, food and beverage and pharmaceutical) and Management Consultant industries, as well as an entrepreneurial experience in private equity and broad international experience.
John started his successful career in P&G Brazil, Latam and Asia where he hold positions of increasing responsibilities, later he worked with Andersen Consulting/Accenture serving companies like ABInBev, Novartis and Accor amongst others. Later on he worked as a managing director of Fama Private Equity, Brazilian PE focused on mid local companies.
John also held senior positions as a VP and General Manager in Avon China where he led a business model transformation from a hybrid direct selling/retail model to a multi-channel retail business.

Conrado Briceño is the co-founder and President of Education Partners S.L., a strategic consulting company in global education. Conrado has a proven executive management track record and over 25 years of international experience in education, consumer goods and financial services. Prior to Education Partners S.L., Conrado developed an extensive international career with Laureate Education Inc. His most relevant and recent roles include CEO Spain & President of Universidad Europea Spain during 3 years – leading the sale of the company to a private equity fund – and CFO Europe Region. Previously he served as COO Andean Region, Latin America and CFO & COO in Universidad de Las Américas (Chile). Prior to Laureate, Conrado had a long and successful career in financial services in Chile and the US with BankBoston N.A. and Bank of America, leading and participating in several M&A and Capital Market transactions across Latam. Conrado started his career with Exxon Coal & Minerals in Chile.
He earned an MBA from A.B. Freeman School of Business, Tulane University and a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (Chile). Conrado was a Board member of Universidad Viña del Mar (Chile), a Foundation Trustee member of private business organization Conexus (Spain), a Advisory Board member of private association Multinacionales por Marca España (Spain) and a Selection Committee member of social entrepreneurship association YouthActionNet (US).
